It's a little unclear why the laterals were not aligned ideally prior to debonding. Seems the parent would definitely mention it if it wasn't previously discussed. Does the reliance bonded wire prevent rotation? Seems like you'd need a stiffer wire if you had any rotation previously? Loved seeing the course. Thanks!!

great refresher. basic mechanics are always what i fall back on when things start to get dicey. fundamentals are key. love refreshing simple symmetrisizer techniques.

Nice mixed dentition case, doing a good service getting upper incisors 'off the street' and making room for trapped lower cuspids. Wondering why you didn't treat both arches at the same time?

Described as an educational entertainer, Gerry Samson completed pediatric dental residency at Emory University in 1979 under the direction of Dr. Ed Hibbard and orthodontics at Northwestern University in 1981 under the direction of Dr. Hal Perry. Since 1981, Gerry has been in private orthodontic practice and is a Diplomat of The American Board of Orthodontics and a Fellow of The American College of Dentists. In addition to orthodontic private practice, Dr. Samson is an Adjunct Professor at The University of Texas at San Antonio, Associate Professor at The University of Alabama at Birmingham, at Case Western University Department of Orthodontics, and at St. Louis University Department of Orthodontics.
