Your test taking system seems off. I retook the quiz multiple times and found one of the questions to have a different answer. Also, the percentage against the number of questions I got wrong is inaccurate. For example if I got one question wrong out of the total amount, it showed a 50% pass rate.

Description

This course provides nurse aides with an overview of the most common categories of prescription medications, including antimicrobials, antidiabetics, cardiac medications, mental health medications, asthma medications...and more. Includes information about observing for side effects and adverse medication reactions.

Objectives

On completion of this course, the learner will be able to:
1. List at least five types of commonly prescribed medications.

2. Describe the main side effects of the above medications.

3. Discuss your role in monitoring medications and side effects.

4. Describe the signs of an allergic reaction to a medication.

5. Demonstrate your knowledge of commonly prescribed medications in your daily work.
