This course has so much important info that expanding it into
part 1 and part 2 (each part 1 hour long) would allow better absorption of the material.
OR provide downloadable info sheets for retention of important
info.

Description

In this recording, we will review common exposures in our everyday lives and examine their associated health risks. The special vulnerabilities of the fetus, infants and children will be reviewed. Several evidence-based sources will be shared, as well as guidance to avoid or reduce potentially toxic exposures. We will also look at the state of chemical policies, including where they are lacking, and opportunities to advocate for improvement.

Participants may earn 1 Lamaze Contact Hour and 1.2 contact hour of CABRN upon successful completion.

Objectives

Participants will understand common exposures, how to evaluate health risks with evidence-based sources, and opportunities for advocacy within current day chemical policies.
