Description

This presentation presents the indications and procedure necessary to perform an ingluviotomy (surgical approach to the crop) in the chicken and, by extension, other birds.

Objectives

After viewing this presentation the clinician will understand the indications for an ingluviotomy, how to assess and prepare the patient, anaesthetise the bird and perform the procedure.
