Description

This session covers the most common gynaecological cancers and malignancies including cervical cancer, ovarian cancer and endometrial carcinoma. Causes of vaginal bleeding are also considered. The screening strategies for and management of women with gynaecological cancers is discussed. This session was last reviewed by Emma Nash and updated on 20/08/2013.

• Demonstrate knowledge of the presentation and primary care management of common gynaecological malignancies
• Outline screening strategies relevant to gynaecological cancers and discuss their advantages and disadvantages
