Lindsay Garcia -
Directorate Manager, Acute and Critical Care Services
Lindsay is the Directorate Manager of Acute and Critical Care Services at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and commenced her career in Critical Care in 1992. Her main academic achievements are BSc (hons) Managing Health Care Delivery and MSc in Health Sciences.
Lindsay was seconded to project manage the Hospital at Night initiative in 2004. The clinically driven IT solution to Hospital at Night received national accolade and recognition by successfully winning numerous awards. Lindsay is one of the organisational leads for Recognition of the Deteriorating patient, which has in part focused on escalation and handover of the deteriorating patient. She is committed to providing vision, drive and facilitation to strengthen the interface between acute and critical care in order to achieve safe quality patient care.

Brendan McCarron -
Consultant Physician in Infectious Diseases and General Medicine, James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough
Brendan McCarron is a Consultant Physician in Infectious Diseases and General Medicine, with a special interest in blood borne viruses and injecting drug user health. He has worked at South Tees Hospitals Foundation Trust since October 1999 and has been the Hospital at Night medical lead since 2004.
Brendan has a keen interest on handover and has spoken nationally on this subject.
Brendan is an avid Glasgow Celtic Supporter.
