This session will explore the pharmacology of the analgesics used by paramedics.

Martin Parkinson
Paramedic, Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust

Martin is a paramedic for the Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust and Pain Lead for the College of Paramedics.

His area of particular interest is in pain management where he has been working to improve the care that we provide to patients through better education and working practices.

He has a Masters degree in Pain Management, lectures at universities and CPD events, and is involved in researching and writing the clinical guidelines for the JRCALC.
