This session will explore the aetiology of median nerve compression, describe the clinical features of median nerve compression and explain how to interpret EMGs.

Rachel Thornton -
Clinical Neurophysiologist, Norfolk

Rachel is a clinical neurophysiologist at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.


Effie Katsarma -
Consultant, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital

Effie is a consultant plastic, reconstructive and hand surgeon at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. Her special interests are hand reconstruction, breast augmentation and body contouring. She teaches regularly at the Royal College of Surgeons and the University of Athens and has published a PhD on the metastatic potential of breast cancer.
