Description

This session will describe the factors involved in dehiscence of sternotomy wounds. Later sections will describe how to ensure proper debridement of the defect and explain the different techniques available for closure of sternotomy defects.

Natisha is an ST 3 in Plastic Surgery, in Thames Valley and Wessex. She is currently at Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth.


Mat Griffiths -
Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon
Mat is a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at St Andrew’s Centre for Plastic Surgery and Burns.
He has a special interest in breast reconstruction and lymphoedema surgery.
