Description

This session will define what is meant by a major burn and identify the factors that can increase the severity of a burn injury. Later, it will investigate the impact of these factors on patient prognosis.

• Explain how these factors are linked to prognosis

Consultant Burns and Plastic, Reconstructive Surgeon
Baljit is a Consultant Burns and Plastic, Reconstructive Surgeon.
He is Clinical Lead for Burns at Queen Victoria Hospital.
His other special interests include leg trauma, skin cancer and breast reconstruction.
