This session will describe the role of fasciotomy in major electrical burns and list the indications for amputation. Later sections will explore how to avoid and treat renal complications following an electrical burn.

Shomari is a ST3 registrar in plastic surgery at the Countess of Chester Hospital, Cheshire.

Consultant Burns and Plastic Surgeon, Manchester
Nadeem is a consultant burns and plastic surgeon at the University Hospital of South Manchester.
