Description

This session will describe the clinical features of inhalation injury and explain how to assess the severity of inhalation injury. Later sections will offer guidance on the initial management of patients with inhalation injury.

Karl Walsh
Core Surgical Trainee

Karl is a Core Surgical Trainee (CST 1) in the North West. He graduated from the University of Manchester in 2013, with an intercalated BSc (Hons) in Anatomical Sciences.

Karl has recently completed a MSc in Burns Care with Queen Mary’s University, London.

Baljit Dheansa
Consultant Burns and Plastic, Reconstructive Surgeon

Baljit is a Consultant Burns and Plastic, Reconstructive Surgeon.

He is Clinical Lead for Burns at Queen Victoria Hospital.

His other special interests include leg trauma, skin cancer and breast reconstruction.
