Consultant Vascular Interventional Radiologist

David Kessel is a Consultant Vascular Interventional Radiologist at Leeds Teaching Hospitals.

Dr Kessel is the Lead for the Leeds Bradford Radiology Academy and has held a variety of roles in education within Leeds Teaching Hospitals, the Yorkshire and Humber Deanery, Royal College of Radiologists, British Society of Interventional Radiology (BSIR) and Academy of Medical Royal Colleges. He has been an officer of the BSIR for 6 years and was president of the Society from November 2009 to November 2011.

David was Module Sub Editor of the 1c Vascular and Interventional Radiology module of R-ITI from its inception until initial delivery. In addition to R-ITI he has been involved in the production of the radiology, interventional radiology and foundation programme curricula.
