Description

This session looks at three syndromes and conditions commonly encountered in urology that have both renal and extrarenal manifestations: von Hippel-Lindau (VHL) disease, tuberous sclerosis (TS) and autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD).

Objectives

By the end of this session you will be able to:
• Describe the renal manifestations of VHL disease, TS and ADPKD
• List the extrarenal manifestations of VHL disease, TS and ADPKD

Trained in Radiology at the Middlesex and University College Hospitals in London. Uday has been Consultant Radiologist at St Georges Hospital and Medical School since December 1995, specialising in Uro-radiology and Interventional Radiology. Uday has also been Module Editor of the 4c Genito-Urinary module of R-ITI.
