Kieran McHugh is Consultant Radiologist at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London. He qualified from University College Galway, Ireland in 1982. He trained in Radiology in Southampton and at children’s hospitals in Toronto, Canada, and Sydney, Australia. Between 1993 and 1997, he was Consultant Radiologist in Oxford before moving to Great Ormond Street Hospital. He was Chairman of the Executive Committee of the British Society of Paediatric Radiology between 2001 and 2004, and Chairman of the Radiology Working Group of the Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group between 2001 and 2007. In 2007, he was the module editor for Module 5 - Paediatrics of the Radiology Integrated Training Initiative (R-ITI) eLearning project.

Kieran has also authored 1 book, 17 chapters in other books and over 140 peer-reviewed articles. His main interest is in paediatric oncology radiology.
