Description

This session looks at some ethical problems that may be encountered in everyday clinical practice: allocation of resources, sustaining life, embryo selection, living wills, privacy and health records. An examination of some of the ethical issues at the start and end of life can be found in Session Legal and Ethical Behaviour/Ethics: Improving the Quality of Life.

Stephen is currently Lead Thoracic Radiologist at Barts and the London NHS Trust and is based at the London Chest Hospital. In July 2009 he became Module Editor of the 1b Thoracic-Respiratory module of the Radiology Integrated Training Initiative (R-ITI) and is currently Clinical Lead for the R-ITI programme.
