This session examines the interscalene block including its indications, contraindications and complications, and explores the anatomy relevant to this regional anaesthetic technique.

David Pappin
on behalf of Health Education England

David is a Post Fellowship Anaesthetic Registrar on the Peninsula rotation.

He trained at Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School and Imperial College. After spending a year in New Zealand as a medical registrar he returned to Britain to commence his anaesthetic training. He is particularly interested in regional and obstetric anaesthesia.

David is a content author for the e-LA project.
