Dr. Meghan Walker, ND Dr. Olivia Rose, ND and Simone Philogène

Dr. Meghan Walker -
Dr. Meghan Walker is a naturopathic doctor, serial entrepreneur, and mother. She graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and completed a science degree with a focus in reproductive physiology from the University of Waterloo. As an entrepreneur, Meghan started and sold her first business while in University and went on to found a national Youth Engagement Organization called Millenium Kids, which taught responsible social activism in schools across Canada, Austraila, and South Africa.

Meghan is Co-founder and past CEO of the digital health media start-up Bright Almond, Founder and Peak Performance Inspirer at Legacy Performance Labs, Host of the Entrepology Podcast and Found of “The First 18,” an online incubator for new clinician entrepreneurs. Meghan has served on the Executives of both the Canadian and Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors. Meghan maintains a boutique practice in Downtown Toronto, catering to entrepreneurs and inspired individuals looking to maximize their body and brain. When not satisfying her entrepreneurial itch, she is hanging out with her three little girls and super supportive husband.

Dr. Olivia Rose -
Dr. Olivia Rose graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Nutritional and Nutraceutical Sciences. In 2006, she graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine where she completed 4 years of study and a clinical internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic and at the Sherbourne Health Centre where she worked with patients afflicted with HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C.

Dr. Rose is also the director of Fertility Acupuncture Services, a program that brings acupuncture to couples undergoing in vitro fertilization and intrauterine insemination to Toronto fertility clinics. Her special areas of interest include infertility; children and teen health; stress management; weight loss; heart disease; digestive and immune health; skin rejuvenation and pain management. As a former personal trainer, Dr. Rose incorporates exercise recommendations with her treatment plans. Dr. Rose is registered with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario and she serves as a board examiner for new graduates seeking registration. She is also an active member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors and the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors. She is a birth doula and has additional training in cosmetic acupuncture and needle-less therapies for skin rejuvenation and joint pain.

In her free time, she unplugs at the spa and she enjoys spending quality time with her husband, son and tea-cup Yorkie. Dr. Rose is a sought-after lecturer for community organizations; a freelance writer and mentor to new graduates. She has been featured as a health expert for various media outlets including Global Toronto’s, “The Morning Show”, “News at Noon” and “News Hour”.


Simone Philogène -
Simone Philogène is president of CCNM Press and chief enrolment, marketing and communications officer of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, Canada's premier institute for education and research in naturopathic medicine.

Philogène is a trilingual senior executive with twenty-five years of leadership experience in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors. She is also a versatile, creative strategist who has developed reputation and risk management strategies at the regional, national and global levels for some of the world’s most respected brands and organizations. Her early career focus was on public policy development.

Philogène has served on a number of not-for-profit boards, and is currently a director of Crossroads International. She was also a member of the 2013, 2014 and 2015 SSHRC Impact Awards jury. These awards recognize the highest achievements in SSHRC-funded social sciences and humanities research, knowledge mobilization and scholarship.

Philogène holds a master’s degree in history from McGill University, and a bachelor’s degree in history and Canadian studies from the University of Ottawa. She is also an alumnus of the Queen’s Executive Program of the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University.
