Neil Cozens -
Neil is a session author for the Head and Neck Ultrasound module of the Image Interpretation project.

Andrew Longmead -
Lead Musculoskeletal Sonographer, Kings Mill Hospital, Mansfield

Andrew practised Diagnostic Radiography in numerous areas at the Derby Hospitals and viewed first-hand the important role of ultrasound imaging. He decided to make the leap to ultrasound in 2008 and obtained a training post in medical ultrasound, gaining competences initially in general abdominal and obstetric scanning. This was quickly followed by developing skills in head and neck ultrasound.

In 2012 he secured a Senior Sonographer post at Kings Mill Hospital, Mansfield, where he was able to gain experience in musculoskeletal ultrasound, which was formalised through the completion of a PgCert at Sheffield Hallam University. Shortly after, he acquired skills in performing ultrasound-guided injections, which now form a regular part of his role as Lead Musculoskeletal Sonographer. He remains actively involved in teaching and holds an Associate Lecture contract with the University of Derby.
