This session looks at the anatomy of facial bones on a series of axial, coronal and sagittal computed tomography (CT) images. There are opportunities to assess your learning throughout the session.

Julie Howson
Advanced Practitioner. City Hospitals Sunderland.

Qualified in 1988, Julie has worked as a Reporting Radiographer since 2000 and as an Advanced Practitioner at City Hospitals Sunderland since 2004. Working as lead of a team of advanced practitioners, her main role is to provide a high quality and timely plain film reporting service to the Emergency Department, inpatients and GP referrers. She also provides regular educational sessions to multi-disciplinary staff, and has managerial responsibilities and works clinical sessions within plain film.

Julie has recently achieved an MSc in Practice Development (medical imaging) at the University of Cumbria.

Julie is passionate about good patient care and quality imaging within general radiography.
