He gained his first image interpretation qualifications in 2000 and since then has set up, developed and led the plain imaging radiographer reporting service.

Kathy Dewar -

Kathy qualified as a reporting radiographer in August 2000. She worked for a year reporting on emergency appendicular skeletal images at a London teaching hospital. On completing a radiographic exchange program in Melbourne Australia, she then took an appointment as a lecturer practitioner, with London South Bank University and Guy’s & St.Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. She has been in post for five years, and currently facilitates image interpretation workshops for student radiographers, leads an image interpretation module for allied health professions and has assisted with the assessment process for the post graduate radiographic reporting course.
