Lisa qualified from the University of Salford as a diagnostic radiographer in 1997 and was quickly promoted to a Senior II and Senior I. In 2002, she became the deputy superintendent in charge of the Accident and Emergency x-ray department at the Bradford Royal Infirmary where she gained a wealth of experience in the busy trauma hospital.

Two years later, following completion of the Postgraduate Diploma in Image Interpretation at the University of Bradford, Lisa became a Reporting Radiographer, reporting MSK and chest and abdominal images. As plain film reporting was a completely new venture at the Bradford Teaching hospitals NHS Trust, she set up a new system of work for Radiographers reporting which is still in practice today.

Lisa has worked for the Mid Yorkshire NHS Trust since 2008 which as increased her scope of reporting to include all referral types, hot reporting and discharging Accident and Emergency patients. She recently started a new position as a trainee Consultant Practitioner in planned and primary care.

An enthusiastic teacher, Lisa is an honorary lecturer at the University of Bradford and Salford University where she regularly deliver lectures to the Postgraduates on the Image Interpretation course. She is currently completing her MSC dissertation to complete the MSC qualification.
