Kirsty Buckley -
Advanced Radiographer Practitioner/Paediatric Radiographer Lead, Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust

Kirsty qualified in 1998 from Bradford University and has worked at South Manchester University, Pinderfields and Pontefract hospitals.

Kirsty completed a reporting course at Bradford University in 2005 and her scope of practice as recently expanded to include all muskloskeletal plain film referrals including GP and Out Patients.

Recently returned from maternity leave, Kirsty has taken on the role of Paediatric Radiographer Lead for the MidYorks NHS Trust.


Alison Walker -
Advanced Radiographer Practitioner, Mid Yorkshire Trust

Alison qualified as a radigrapher from the Leeds School of Health in 1993. She then specialised in trauma, paediatrics and orthopeadics at St James University Hospital and became the moving and handling co-ordinator for all the radiology departments.

In 2000 Alison completed the post graduate reporting course at Bradford University.

Her current role as Advanced Radiographer Practitioner at the Mid Yorkshire Trust has allowed extension of the musculoskeletal reporting remit and Alison now reports on the Emergency Department, Outpatient, GPs and fracture clinics.

Alison has always enjoyed the ’hands on approach’ of radiography and is clinical supervisor supporting the radiography student training programme in conjunction with Bradford University.
