Amanda Poppleton
on behalf of Health Education England

Amanda is currently working in skills and training as Development Programme Manager for Marie Curie Cancer Care. Her remit is the training and development of clinical nursing staff. She has an interest in competency based training and e-learning and is part of a team that has developed an e-learning communication skills programme for the Marie Curie Charity.

A nurse by background, she has previously worked as a hospice ward manager with Marie Curie and as a hospice ward sister with Sue Ryder Care. Amanda has over ten year’s experience of palliative and end of life care.
