This presentation was very appropriate and timely for a beginner wanting to understand the details of online teaching.

This was very informative! I appreciated that the instructor gave details that may seem obvious, but then explained how those details are important in ways that are not so obvious. He explained in a big picture way how certain sets of choices in approaching using videos and slides as a teaching tool can be done. We think we know these little details, but then when it comes time to fitting those details into the puzzle of that big picture from start to finish, there are problems that can arise. He gave some good advice on the strategy of execution from start to finish.

Tim Childers is the Health Science SLC Administrator at Fulton High School in Knox County Schools. He has been in Knox County for 8 years, and in education for 19 years. He was named one of the first DEN Gurus for Discovery Education and was listed on the very first "20 to Watch" lists by TechSmith. He has led workshops across the state, as well as being a featured speaker for MACUL and a keynote speaker for the Mid-South Technology Conference. Tim is a former board member for PET.
