The exit of a team member is not a simple “thanks for the service and good bye.” Amid the standard exit forms, final paycheck, pet balance and other paperwork there is an opportunity to garner some knowledge about the inner workings of your practice as it relates to hiring, developing and retaining talent. Conducting a well-devised exit interview provides a learning opportunity to increase managerial competencies, improve talent management in the practice, and mitigate any risks from problems existing “under the surface” in the practice.

Upon completion of this course, the student should be able to:
Objective 1:
Create an exit interview strategy
Objective 2:
Assess the condition of your current retention process
Objective 3:
Conduct a post-exit interview autopsy to fetter out weaknesses in your talent management
