Interest in Small Intestine Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO) has been increasing ever since it was identified as an underlying cause of Irritable Bowel Syndrome, the most common gastrointestinal disorder worldwide. This information is revolutionizing the approach to IBS, making knowledge of SSIBO essential for those treating IBS as well as many other disorders that SIBO is associated with.
