Description

In this activity, Dr Ryan explains reasons behind abuse deterrent opiod formulations and identifies the requirements, methods, and research on abuse deterrent formulations for opioid use. Target Audience: This course is designed for pharmacists. Program Design: This course is presented in a lecture format, available via MP4 files, and is accompanied by PDFs of the presenter's PowerPoint slides.  A post-test and program evaluation will be completed after reviewing the content of each presentation.  The post-test and evaluation must be completed BEFORE Sept 1, 2016. Note: The video and PDF documents were developed to work on most computers, tablet, and smartphones. Content previously recorded at the 62nd Pharmacy Practice Seminar, filmed on September 14, 2014.
