Jena Valdes, PharmD, AE-C, BCPPS

Dr. Valdes graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of South Florida in 2006. She then went on to complete a Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2010 from the University of Florida and attended the St. Petersburg campus. Since graduation she has completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency with a focus in pediatrics at Mayo Clinic in 2011, as well as, a PGY-2 Pediatric Pharmacy Residency at All Children’s Hospital in 2012. Following her residency training, she practiced in general pediatrics and precepted pharmacy students and residents. Dr. Valdes continues to be an active member of many pharmacy national organizations. She has published one article and an abstract in the American Journal of Perinatology and Journal of the Society of Critical Care Medicine, respectively. Outside of work Dr. Valdes is local to the "burg" and enjoys antiquing, restoring old furniture, boating, and going to concerts.
